This stormy shot of Manhattan was taken in July, 2005 across the Hudson in Hoboken's Sinatra Park with an old Nikon 35mm film (gasp!) camera borrowed from my father. No filters or Photoshop... this is exactly how the sky looked at about 3:00 in the afternoon. This shot was taken the same day.

Sometimes I think the "old school" cameras capture moments better than the new fangled digital ones. Or maybe I'm just lazy and don't use my digital camera's features correctly...

Nor have you experienced the bottleneck traffic trying to get across the bridge that spans the stupid brown, brown river that is the Illinois River. Did I mention the Illinois River stinks? Did I mention that we have an Asian Carp infestation that has killed pretty much all fishlife? Survival of the fittest, eh Darwin? Where the hell am I going with this? Alright, night night.
