Many of my original bloggy pals have called it quits over the past year. And I can't say it's not something I've also considered. Mine is hardly a traditional blog, you won't find a whole lot of confessional stuff here, and at times it's hard to know whether the direction I take is ever successful. Hence, the age-old question:
"Should I Stay Or Should I Go," The Clash
Have you ever thought about quitting the habit? What keeps you blogging?

I'm always doing the stay or go dance. I've cut way back from daily blogging. I did stop for awhile (but missed it). But days like today when I see 229 feeds in my reader...I know I'm not going to read them. I just have so much LIFE stuff going on to be able to even go near any of them other than my semi-daily reads.
I do want to quit most days. But then the next week I change my mind. I've kind of become a twitter-a-holic. Mainly because it's so much easier to catch up with people there rather than read a whole post.
I don't even know if I'll get to posting anything this week. I hope so!
Since I only really do it for fun I'm never tempted to go. I do take absences now and then when I've had enough or have nothing to say but other than that, I just plod along. I'd miss you if you went. Don't do it! DON'T!
The thought has crossed my mind, but people keep showing up for more...
Although I'm not s blogger, I am definitely a fan. I particularly enjoy the music you highlight. I vote for you to keep on keeping on at least for now. Shirley
You know what I think. I want you to stay. That is my final word on the subject. :-)
Don't go!! :-)

(deep sigh) - time is my issue - I really enjoying blogging - I really sort of found myself again when I started blogging three years ago . . . but I do not have the time to commit to commenting like I used too . . . and really, no one visits me anymore either (well, some do {smiles}) I don't know if I will quit altogether, but my commitment is definitely not there anymore. Plus, everyone has has sort of moved on to Twitter.
I thought I commented on this!
I think about it all the time, sure that I will run out of things to say. And then I don't. So I keep on going.
As soon as it is not fun anymore, I'm out.
