When: Vanessa has been making her pieces for a year now.
Why: "I am a creative soul," says Vanessa. "I have felt the need to make things since I was a little girl. I have this incredible urge inside of me to be some sort of artist."
Her Philosophy: "I don't work in a certain style or set genre. I do what feels right."
Her Inspirations: "My inspiration is life. Everything in it... one day my kids might say something that kicks off an inspiration. The next time it might be a leaf on the ground. Then the color of a shirt. I look at everything as some sort of art. I don't let my imagination ever turn off. Everything has beauty in it somewhere. Our job is to find it."
